The B8550 is aimed at a different kind of user than the B9180 and B8850 are. Both of those printers are designed for serious amateur photographers and even professionals—as suggested by the word "Pro" in their names. The B8550 is much more of a high-end consumer printer. And as such, you will pay a higher price for this model.
Our review photo printer team was 'taken' with the less expensive model and felt that it would be a pleasing choice for an amateur or a pro looking to save a few dollars.
